The rice producing area of Toyama has a mild climate throughout the year which makes it perfect for rice production. Our koshihikari rice comes from rice fields irrigated by streams of extremely pure water from Mount Tateyama.
Our suggestion: this rice is perfect for making sushi, maki, and also for making desserts or steamed in the traditional way.
